05/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - At a meeting of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Dispute Settlement Body on 29 August 2008, the EU vetoed a request for a special WTO group to be set up on an issue over which the EU is at loggerheads with the United States, Japan and Taiwan, namely information technology (DS 375, DS 376 and DS377, see EUROPE No. 9671).
