Nicolas Sarkozy invites trade unions to make European social dialogue a pitch for proposals and a spur to reform - Trade union memorandum is submitted

Brussels, 02/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - The president of the French Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy, received on Monday 1 September a delegation from the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) headed by its president, Wanja Lundby-Wedin, and its general secretary, John Monks, who handed over to him the “Trade Union Memorandum to the French Presidency of the European Union”.
