02/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption in Brussels of the report by Kyösti Virrankoski (ALDE, Finland), the European Parliament approved without amendment the draft amending budget No 5/2008. The budget concerns the revision of provisions relating to traditional own resources (customs duties, farm subsidies and sugar payments), VAT bases and Gross National Income (GNI).
