Six member states not correctly protecting their information systems against possible attacks

Brussels, 14/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 11 July, the European Commission announced implementation of Community legislation on attacks against information systems. Six of the 27 member states had still not implemented the 2005 framework decision, although the transposition deadline expired in March 2007. Commission vice president, Jacques Barrot, said that he was concerned by the fact that Spain, Greece, Malta, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Slovakia had not provided any information...
