European Audiovisual Monitoring Centre publishes report on cultural diversity

Brussels, 02/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 26 June 2008, the European Audiovisual Monitoring Centre published its new IRIS report on promoting and defending cultural diversity, taking a new look at new media technology. The report's author, Tarlach McGonagle, researcher at Amsterdam University's information rights institute (IViR), examines various definitions of 'culture' and 'cultural rights' before studying the various arguments put forward for backing the promotion of cultural diversity....
