16/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 16 June, the European Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of SunCoat GmbH of Germany by Renolit AG of Germany, controlled by JM Gesselschaft für industrielle Beteiligungen mbH& Co. KgaA, and Evonik Degussa GmbH, also of Germany. Renolit manufactures high quality thermoplastic films, Evonik Degussa manufactures chemical products and SunCoat produces technical films.
