Brussels, 10/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 11 June, the Commission will be targeting Romania with policy advice, calling on it to take measures to prevent its deficit going beyond the 3% of GDP mark. From 2.2% in 2006, the Romanian public deficit reached 2.5% in 2007 and is dangerously close to the Stability and Growth Pact (SGP) threshold.
