Brussels, 02/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 2 June 2008, the committee of eurozone finance ministers, the Eurogroup, showed little inclination to agree with a French recommendation to put an upper EU limit on VAT on oil products (see related article). Meeting in Frankfurt, Germany, the day after the 10th anniversary of the European Central Bank (ECB) and ahead of official celebrations that very afternoon, the ministers also discussed the 2009 budget debates in the member states.
