02/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 30 May 2008, the European Commission added three denominations of farm and food products to the list of protected appellations of origin and protected geographical indications, namely Miód wrzosowy z Borów Dolnoœ¹skich (Polish honey, protected geographical indication); Chodské pivo (Czech beer, protected geographical indication) and Óôáößäá Æáêýíèïõ (Stafida Zakynthou) (raisins - Greece - protected geographical indication). These three new names have been added to the EU list of around 800 products already protected under legislation covering geographical indications, appellations of origin and traditional specialities.
