Four mergers and acquisitions given go-ahead by Commission

Brussels, 16/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 15 May 2008, the European Commission gave the go-ahead to four merger and acquisition deals. Three European subsidiaries of South Korean company Samsung Techwin Co. will be bought up by South Korea's Samsung Electronics Co., which designs, manufactures and sells electronic products.
