15/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - Louis Michel, EU Development Commissioner, has welcomed the new cease fire and peace deal signed at Libreville (Gabon) on 9 May 2008 between the government of the Central African Republic and the Popular Army for the Restoral of Democracy (APRD). This deal paves the way for a national peace and reconciliation movement in the Central African Republic, that the European Commission would like to unreservedly support, commented Louis Michel in a press release...
