05/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 May, EP President Hans-Gert Pöttering is visiting Morocco, where he will meet King Mohammed VI, Prime Minister Abbas El Fassi and Foreign Minister Taieb Fassi-Fihri. Among the topics for discussion are the Union for the Mediterranean and the role of Morocco as a new member of the bureau of the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly. Pöttering will also have meetings with human rights NGOs. (H.B.)
