01/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - The municipality of Modena in Italy and the Europe Direct centre in Modena are organising a Renzo Imbeni Summer School from 8 to 13 September 2008, where Italian and other European students will be able to extend their knowledge on European issues like fundamental rights, competition policy, the EU's 'new borders' and the role of the EU in the world. Various MEPs will be speaking at the event. The two students judged to have made the best contribution to the summer school will be granted a study grant of €4000 to enable them to carry out a training period at the European Parliament and the Committee of the Regions.
