Brussels, 26/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - Structural adjustment programmes (SAPs) containing many conditions were imposed on African countries in the 1980s, which had many negative repercussions for them. The ACP/EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly (JPA) is convinced that the EU/ACP partnership can be used to put things back onto a more balanced footing.
