26/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is soon to adopt a regulation registering certain denominations as Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). They are the following products: the PGI “Lingot du Nord” (a white bean grown in France in the Lys Valley), the PGI “Cipolla Rossa di Tropea Calabria” (Italian sausage) and the PGI “Marrone di Roccadaspide” (Italian chestnuts).
