MEPs concerned at control and application of European law in new member states

Brussels, 20/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 20 February the European Parliament debated the application of Community law in the member states. Some MEPs expressed concerned that the number of infringement procedures involving European legislation had not increased with accession in 2004 of the ten countries from central and eastern Europe.
