Dane Morten Kjaerum likely to become Director of Fundamental Rights Agency

Brussels, 15/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - Dane Morten Kjaerum, who currently heads the Danish Institute for Human Rights, has emerged, after the European Parliament civil liberties committee (LIBE) and EU Council hearings on 11 February, as favourite of the two candidates shortlisted by the European Commission, to become the director of the European Fundamental Rights Agency.
