Brussels, 15/02/2008 (Agence Europe) - Germany can ban the sale in that country of films and video games which have not been assessed by its own authorities to determine which age ranges should be able to use them, without infringing free movement of goods. The ban by a German court on imports of DVDs from the United Kingdom to Germany, on the grounds that they only carried a warning in English, has, therefore, been upheld for reasons of protection of minors.
