Muslim Charter for Europe to be signed

Brussels, 08/01/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 10 January, over 400 European Muslim organisations will sign the Muslim Charter for Europe. Drawn up on the initiative of the Federation of Islamic Organisation of Europe (FIOE), the charter provides an “Islamic code of conduct” for Muslims living in Europe. It commits the European Muslim community to taking part in the construction of Europe and a united society, to taking part in the drive for the peace and well-being of our societies...
