16/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European International Relations Institute (IERI) will be officially opening the academic year of the 'Academia Diplomatica Europea' on the subject of strategy and policy in the thought of Sun Tzu, Taoism and the Art of War at the Concert Noble in Brussels on Thursday 18 October. Founded by Inerio Seminatore, the Academia Diplomatica European is a higher education institute providing post-graduate training for diplomats from the 2003-2004 academic year onwards. It is organising a series of introductory lectures on geopolitical, strategic and systemic thought, the philosophy of war, the sociology of conflict, research into globalisation, international security and political communications for diplomatic, officials, foreign policy and defence experts, university researchers and postgraduate students.
