Fifteen member states have still not made it easy for foreign scientists to carry out research in Europe

Brussels, 16/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - No fewer than 15 member states have still not implemented the 2005 directive aimed at facilitating the entry into Europe of third country nationals in order to carry out research, the European Commission announced on Monday 15 October. “Member states must honour their commitment to create a system for scientists from outside the EU who want to carry out their research here”, stressed European Research Commissioner Janez Potocnik in a press release....
