09/10/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 8 October, the European Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of Perlos Corporation (Perlos) of Finland by Lite-On Technologies Corporation (Lite-On) of Taiwan. Lite-On supplies computer, communication and consumer electronic devices. Perlos designs and manufactures mechanical parts for mobile phones. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure. (ol)
