At least two MEPs taken in for questioning at banned demonstration in Brussels

Brussels, 11/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - A demonstration banned by the Bourgmestre of Brussels led to several dozen people, including the leader of the Flemish Vlaams Belang party and MEP Franck Vanhecke being held for questioning. He was joined by Italian Lega Nord MEP Mario Borghezio and other nationalist and xenophobic elected representatives, including one Frenchman.
