10/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 10 September, the European Commission sent one of its experts on animal illnesses to Armenia. Italian Domenico Rutili, a member of the recently set up Community Veterinary Emergency Team, will take part in the joint EU, World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) and United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) team assisting local authorities investigate African Swine Fever, several outbreaks of which have been detected in Armenia.
