06/09/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 6 September, the EU Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) published a report condemning the lack of progress made by Spain in combating Salmonella in laying hen flocks. National monitoring agencies seemed to be aware of the consequences of this situation for consumer health, and have launched an intensified surveillance programme.
