Brussels, 20/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - The Commission approved three acquisitions on Friday 20 July. Debitel AG of Germany, a supplier of telecommunications services, will acquire sole control of mobile telephony operator Talkline Management and Finance Holding GmbH, also of Germany. Eyecare product manufacturer Bausch & Lomb of the United States will be acquired by US capital investment company Warburg Pincus LLC. Finally, two Dutch capital investment companies Halder-GIMV Investering2004 B.V. and NPM Capital N.V. will acquire joint control of Dutch press agency ANP Holding B.V. (Algemeen Nederlands Persbureau). All three transactions were examined under the simplified merger procedure. (cd)
