Brussels, 16/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - France has shown itself to be the country most implacably opposed to the European Commission proposals, presented on 4 July, on the total reform of the common market organisation (CMO) for wine. The Agriculture Council debate on this issue in Brussels on Monday 16 July also revealed strong opposition from Austria, Germany, Hungary, Luxemburg and Slovakia to the measures proposed by the Commission.
