06/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission granted clearance to two deals using the simplified merger review procedure, namely the acquisition of sole control of AxCom AB (Axcom) of Sweden by Doughty Hanson & Co Limited (DHC) of the UK, a private equity fund; and the deal whereby French private equity fund PAI Partners S.A.S. would buy up Kaufman and Broad, a French real estate company.
