Brussels, 29/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - The EU has carried out a complete review of its list of persons and entities with links to terrorism. Some fifty individuals and almost as many groups, including the Basque separatist group ETA and the Palestinian Hamas group, feature on the European list, first compiled in 2001. The review sees the inclusion of a new group on the list: the far left Epanastatikos Agonas (Revolutionary Struggle). Three Italian groups - Nuclei Territoriali Antimperialisti (Anti-Imperialist Territorial Units), Nuclei de Iniziativa Proletaria Rivoluzionaria (Units for Revolutionary Proletarian Initiative) and Nuclei de Iniziativa Proletaria (Units for Proletarian Initiative) - have been, removed from the list. The 30 groups and 35 individuals whose funds and assets have been frozen all remain on the list. The People's Mojahedine Organisation of Iran (PMOI), therefore, is still on the list.
