Reasoned opinions sent to Luxemburg and Ireland for failing to implement security of supply directive on gas

Brussels, 29/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the Commission sent reasoned opinions to Ireland and Luxemburg for lack of full and complete implementation of directive 2004/67/EC on the security of gas supply. Dublin and Luxemburg now have two months to submit their comments to the Commission, which may then decide to refer the case to the European Court of Justice. (eh)
