29/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 28 June, the EU Council of ministers adopted, without debate, a regulation on the new fisheries partnership agreement between the EU and the autonomous government of Greenland. European Fisheries Ministers reached agreement on this text on 12 June (see EUROPE 9444). The six-year agreement authorises EU vessels to fish for various species (cod, redfish, halibut, shrimp, capelin and snow crab) in Greenland waters and introduces a system whereby unused...
