28/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - The chairman of the European Parliament's civil liberties committee, Jean-Marie Cavada (ALDE, France), said on Wednesday that MEPs would soon be giving “all the attention it deserves” to the follow-up on reform in justice and to the fight against corruption in Bulgaria and Romania. These remarks follow Wednesday's adoption by the Commission of two follow-up reports concerning progress made by the two countries in these fields (EUROPE 9456). (bc)
