Brussels, 21/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament is calling for the EU to ban metallic mercury exports and mercury linked compounds from 1 December 2010. It is calling for import bans on this heavy metal entering the European market, and for surplus stocks that have not been used to be stored in conditions of the utmost safety.
