15/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 15 June, the European Commission authorised the acquisition of German company PUMA Aktiengesellschaft Rudolf Dassler Sport (PUMA) by French luxury goods manufacturer and retailer PPR S.A. PUMA manufactures, supplies and retails sports clothing, footwear and accessories. The European Commission's investigation showed that the deal will not significantly hinder competition in the single market. (ol)
