EU and UN step up cooperation on international crisis management

Brussels, 08/06/2007 (Agence Europe) - UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the president-in-office of the Council of the EU, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, signed a joint statement in Berlin on 7 June on intensified cooperation between the United Nations and the European Union in the field of international crisis management.
