Alexander Weis to take over from Nick Witney

Brussels, 24/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - As head of the European Defence Agency, Javier Solana announced on Thursday 24 May, that the director of armaments in Germany, Alexander Weis, will be the new executive director of the European Defence Agency (EDA). He will take over from Nick Witney from the United Kingdom. The EDA steering committee also decided to appoint two deputy directors from 1 January 2008 by replacing the current deputy director, Hilmar Linnenkamp from Germany. The two new...
