MEPs express solidarity with Tallinn in crisis with Russia

Strasbourg, 24/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - In a resolution adopted by an overwhelming majority on Thursday, the European Parliament expressed its solidarity with Estonia in the crisis with Russia, following relocation of the monument to Soviet soldiers which stood in the heart of Tallinn. MEPs noted that they regarded “attacks targeting one of the smallest EU Member States as a test case for the European Union's solidarity”, and considered “inadmissible the various attempts to interfere...
