21/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 16 May, the European Commission authorised the proposed acquisition of French group Camaïeu S.A., a women's fashion wear retailer, by Cinven Limited of the UK, which provides management and advisory services to a number of investment funds. The Commission's examination showed that, as Cinven is no longer active in retail trade in women's fashion wear, the parties' activities would not overlap as a result of this transaction. (cd)
