21/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - Meeting in Paris at ministerial level on 15 and 16 May, the council of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) decided to open membership talks to two new EU member states, Estonia and Slovenia. We recall that all EU15 member states as well as Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia are already members of the OECD. (eh)
