03/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - The German Social Democratic Party (SPD) and the French Socialist Party (PS) have agreed a common position on the European constitution, calling for emphasis to be put on the social dimension of the EU. According to AFP, the document calls for the substance of the constitution to be retained in a future treaty.
