30/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - The Portuguese Prime Minister José Socrates announced on Friday that he intended to hold a referendum in Portugal on the future Treaty of the EU. He added that “priority” of the Portuguese Presidency of the EU, in the second half of 2007, would be to reach a consensus on the contents of the Treaty. (hb)
