ECVAM validates new tests to avoid skin irritancy tests on rabbits

Brussels, 30/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - Good news for rabbits! The Scientific Advisory Committee of the European Centre for the Validation of Alternative Methods (ECVAM) announced last Friday the validation of five new “in-vitro” tests, which take an important step towards ending the practice of using rabbits in skin and eye irritancy testing.
