30/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - The 2007 European prize for local and regional politics will be presented to Michael Häupl, the mayor and governor of Vienna, the president of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) by the governor of the Province of Tyrol Herwig van Staa in Innsbrück on 8 May. The Emperor Maximilian Prize is awarded by the Tyrol and the city of Innsbrück to those who have contributed to the reinforcement of local and regional politics in Europe. It...
