Commission green light to acquisition of Ogalas by Home Retail and Durinicum

Brussels, 16/04/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the European Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of Ogalas Ltd of Ireland by Home Retail Group plc (Home Retail) and Durinicum (Consultancy) Ltd (Durinicum), both of the UK. Home Retail sells general merchandise, home improvement and DIY products in the UK and Ireland under the "Homebase" and "Argos" brands.
