16/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - According to a release from Reuters dated 15 February, the European Commission is preparing to announce next Wednesday that several companies are to be condemned for unlawful agreements on the market for lifts. Manufacturers concerned are Otis held by United Technologies (of the US), ThyssenKrupp (Germany), Schindler (Switzerland) and Kone (Finland).
