EP Agriculture Committee lifts taboo on GMOs - Call for EU farm biotech strategy

Brussels, 26/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Agriculture and Rural Development Committee feels it is time for the EU to stop criticising biotechnology in agriculture and start seeing the benefits for food, human health, the environment and EU competitiveness.
