19/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of Jacuzzi Brands Inc. (“Jacuzzi”) of the US, by the Apollo Group, also of the US. The Apollo Group is a portfolio investments company. Jacuzzi supplies bathroom and plumbing products and hot tubs. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure. (cd)
