GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/united states/gmo

16/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - Chief veterinarians of EU Member States decided, on 16 January, to lift emergency measures imposed in April 2005 to ensure that unauthorised GMO Bt10 maize does not enter EU territory (EUROPE 8929). Measures provided for marketing approval for US exports of corn gluten feed and brewers' grain on condition that these were certified free from GMO Bt10.
