08/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - The German Presidency and the European Commission will hold a conference in Berlin on 18-19 January on “Communicating Europe Together”, the fourth in a series of five follow-up conferences on the White Paper on European communication policy (see EUROPE 9297 and 9305). At this event, the creation of new partnerships between the European institutions, Member States and local and regional authorities on how best to meet European citizens, and discuss with them, will be considered. Among those taking part in the conference will be Margot Wallström, Commissioner with responsibility for the information strategy, Günther Gloser and Emma Bonino, respectively German and Italian Ministers for European Affairs, Kinga Göncz, Hungarian Foreign Minister and several MEPs.
