08/01/2007 (Agence Europe) - To mark the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome, which will be celebrated on 25 March 2007, among other things by the adoption of a “Declaration of Berlin”, the European Commission, in cooperation with non-profit making organisations “Europa 50” and “Collections & Patrimoines” will organise an exhibition on “Leonardo da Vinci The European Genius” in the Koekelberg Basilica in Brussels from 9 April to 4 November 2007. The exhibition will explore five themes: the life, painting and sculpture, machines, anatomical research and writings of Leonardo da Vinci.
